The web site wouldn't be complete without Mindy, and she has had quite an interesting year. Mindy spent a year in Florida without us and missed us dearly. After John and Kim were married, Mindy moved to Oregon. 12 hours of travel, a trip to the MGM Grand in Vegas and a car ride from Seattle Mindy finally arrived at her new home in Oregon in 1997. She really enjoys running around the yard, taking lots of naps and venturing to the neighbor's house

This past year she managed to find some rat poison and spent a few days at the vet and a couple of nights in the emergency room. Once they figured out what was wrong she got better pretty quick, but she sure gave her owners a scare.

Mindy hasn't been brushing and flossing properly and got sick again about 2 weeks ago. A trip to the vet revealed an abscess tooth which required emergency surgery. Poor Mindy had the tooth removed and they had to shave 1/2 of her face to put in a tube to help with drainage. The tube is now gone and Mindy is healing very well. She is back to her normal spunky self and can't wait to go outside again.
