Like always, John is constantly on the go. John was promoted to Assistant Manager of Eugene Country Club. When he's not at work, you will find him out on the course. Even though he says he never gets to play enough, John is down to a 2.3 handicap.

Besides golf, John spends a lot of his time working on the house. This summer he painted the outside of the house, helped with yard work, installed a new pond in the back yard and with the help of his brother in law, Adam, he managed to get some of the electrical work straigtend out. The house hasn't burned down yet, so I think he did a good job.

In the future John hopes to be the GM of a country club and is working on his CCM (certified club manager) credentials. He will be attending a CCM convention in Michigan in September and in San Diego in February.

Speaking of travel, John and Kim are on their way to Italy in October. I'm sure he'll be playing golf on Italian soil, until then he'll continue to enjoy the summer in Oregon.
